Self-Administration Guide

Be in the Know

Patients who have Hereditary angioedema (HAE) know that attacks can happen any time, any place. Icatibant Injection is an on-demand HAE treatment solution that is self-administered, so patients can give themselves the treatment they need when they need it, at the first sign of HAE symptoms. This instructional video shows how they can self-administer Icatibant Injection.

Icatibant Injection is available in both single- and three-syringe packages. Each injection is supplied as a 3 mL prefilled, single-use syringe.

The package and prefilled syringe are convenient and easy to use whether patients are at home or on-the-go. Icatibant Injection can be used both in and out of the home—after training by a healthcare professional. This informational video does not take the place of training with a healthcare professional.

Help your patients be prepared to treat acute HAE attacks by suggesting they carry Icatibant Injection with them at all times.
